Simon Vacher Film has just pre-ordered one in the first batch of the long awaited Sony PXW-FS7, a Super35 large-single-sensor camera capable of recording up to 4K video with slow-motion capabilities up to 150fps in Full-HD, for shoulder-mounted applications like documentary shooting, news, wildlife and direct cinema. It will be a revolutionary asset to the team!
The PXW-FS7 supports such log gamma curves as S-Gamut3/S-Log3, which is close to Cineon log, so colour correction is easier to perform and it is possible to achieve cinematic expression with the look of film. Cine is geared toward reproducing the wide colour gamut of DCI-P2 colour space used in digital cinema, and geared toward the reproduction of almost all actual colours, and is thereby suitable for archival purposes.
For non-tech savvy clients, this means your images will be of superior cinema-like quality, totally lifting the production value of your video production. Bigger and better than ever before!
Imagine the slow motion movement of waves & wildlife, or the smooth tracking motion and sleek look of your latest corporate video production or event.
Get Simon booked into your diary for your next production!
Discounts apply on bookings based on two days or more.
Thank-you from Simon Vacher and the team.
